Here’s how to make your own cold pack at home:
2 – 1 Gallon ziplock bags
1 – 12-16 oz. bottle of rubbing alcohol
3 – 12-16 oz. bottles of water (you can use the alcohol bottle to measure)
Pour the alcohol and water into the ziplock bag. Get as much air out as possible.
Turn locks on bags in opposite directions when you double bag the mixture.
Now put it in the freezer.
It will freeze firm, but not solid.
Set out for about 5 minutes for shoulders, knees so cold pack will form.
Ready to use for backs.
